Sathya Sai Baba, in the condition of Avatar of Education, is an emissary of the Universe who is here to help our humanity to learn again how to express the Divine that inhabits our hearts and to help us to learn again how to live together in peace with each other and with nature. Therefore, the pedagogy of the Education in Human Values created by him belongs to the human species.

The world is hungry for love. That is why people are getting sick so often... But to get things straight: it is not the body that gets sick, it is the soul...

Since young we learn that we have to win , and that it is important to be the first in school, in work... We all long for the title of champion of something. In nowadays education, the brain is the commander of all human actions. No importance is given to the heart, which is in fact the source of all wisdom. Depression and all the other human anguishes emerges after verification of the emptiness inside. We know almost nothing regarding ourselves, and we live imersed in immense darkness, and so we have fear, sadness and the terrible sensation of not knowing how to love and not being loved.

The Education in Human Values Program proposes the rescue of the human condition with the school as the starting point - first we learn how to be happy and later how to be successful. It (the program) values silence, daily self conversation, coexistence with the emotions, practice of virtues and the celebration of our self. When we learn to love ourselves, then we can really love our neighbors and all the humanity. We can only give what we have available inside of us, specifically inside the heart.

The Education in Human Values Program proposes a revolution from within, through the most powerful energy existent: Love...it is the essence of life, that which transforms us into first class human beings.

In the pages of this site you can find everything that is necessary for a complete understanding of the foundations and of the practices of Education in Human Values according to its creator, Sathya Sai Baba, who is rector of the Sri Sathya Sai University, from India. We made available for consultation all our didactic material, such as books, videos, songs, reports of experiences, class plans, etc.

The child is born in unity, full of love, solidarity and happiness. Current education in the family and in the school doesn't focus self love as a priority. In short time the child loses its own reference, learns how to fear, and loses her faith and self-confidence. Then she learns many things from the books but she doesn’t learn how to deal with herself or how to have emotional and mental peace. In that way, Christ's great teaching, love your neighbor as thyself and love God above all things, turns to be more theoretical than practical.

A technique to learn how to love yourself: - right after your bath, caress yourself, rubing your hand all over the body and awakening love in all the cells. In this way you will nurture your cells with peace, love, tenderness, harmony and equilibrium. Another technique is: - fully concentrated, take conscience of your cells all over the body and recite the mantra OM 21 times, feeling the energy of Divine Trinity penetrating all your Being in the form of Force, Light and Love. Divine Trinity is called by different names according to the religious tradition.
